PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treatment agent for polyurethane-based elastic fiber for adding excellent unwindability, unwindability with time, cob-webbing resistance and scum deposition resistance at the same time to a polyurethane-based elastic fiber having a heat generation amount by a DSC measurement in a specific range, and a treatment method for the polyurethane-based elastic fiber using the treatment agent.SOLUTION: As a treatment agent for the following polyurethane-based elastic fiber, used is one consisting of the following smoothing agent and the following unwindability enhancing agent with over 99.7 mass% of the following smoothing agent and less than 0.3 mass% of the unwindability enhancing agent (total 100 mass%). Polyurethane-based elastic fiber: polyurethane-based elastic fiber having a heat generating amount at 150 to 300°C by a differential scanning calorimeter (DSC) measurement of 40 mJ/mg or more and less than 150 mJ/mg. Smoothing agent: at least one selected from silicon oil, mineral oil and ester. Unwindability enhancing agent: at least one selected from a silicon resin having a trifunctional siloxane unit and/or a tetrafunctional siloxane unit in a molecule as a constitutional unit and mass average molecular weight of 3000 to 100000 and alkali earth metal salt of aliphatic acid having 10 to 22 carbon atoms.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
