PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a probe capable of further promoting ionization in proteome analysis using mass spectrometry; a high sensitivity protein mass spectrometry using the probe; an ionization promotion probe capable of corresponding even to protein high in hydrophobicity and turnover; and a high sensitivity protein mass spectrometry using the ionization promotion probe.SOLUTION: The protein mass spectrometry comprises the steps of: obtaining a modified protein by reacting a protein thiol probe shown by the following formula (I): (where Rrepresents a crosslinking group, and Rrepresents a substitution ammonium group or a substitution amino group) with protein to be subjected to mass spectrometry; and providing the modified protein to the mass spectrometry.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
