<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antireflection film improved in abrasion resistance/antifouling property while having satisfactory antireflectiveness, and to provide a polarizing plate and an image display device using such an antireflection film. <P>SOLUTION: The antireflection film includes a low-refractive-index layer formed by curing a coating liquid composition containing a hydroxyl group-containing branched polyglycerol-modified silicone having a specific structure and a fluorine-containing copolymer. In the polarizing plate, such an antireflection film is used as one of two protective films for a polarizing film in the polarizing plate.
