An electric 3-way valve for a refrigerator is provided to use an inflow valve hole as a location decider for a middle plate by inserting one of supporting legs of the middle plate in the inflow valve hole. An electric 3-way valve for a refrigerator includes a medium idle gear(50), a pinion, a valve gear(42), large and small gears, a middle plate(70), a valve sheet plate(10), three supporting legs(73), and an inflow valve hole(13). The medium idle gear is installed on a second shaft having a gap from the valve sheet plate. The large gear is engaged with the pinion of a rotor and is hung on an upper part of an outer circumference of the valve gear of a valve(40). The small gear is engaged with the valve gear. The middle plate supports the medium idle gear for the valve to rotate with closely contacting to the valve sheet plate. The three supporting legs are elongated from the middle plate, and one of the three supporting legs has an insertion supporting part(73a). The insertion supporting part is inserted in the inflow valve hole of the valve sheet plate.
