<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an LED lamp which realizes direct illumination and indirect illumination, using a single light source. <P>SOLUTION: The LED lamp illuminating a given illuminating range includes an insulating base material 1, having a main surface 1a substantially facing a given illuminating range, and a tapered surface 1b which is formed at the back of the main surface 1a to give a prescribed taper and is invisible from the given illuminating range. The insulating base material 1 is provided with a directly illuminating LED 4a, disposed on the main surface 1a of the insulating base material 1, with the taper surface 1b, and with a circuit pattern 5 formed on the insulating base material 1 that supplies power to the directly illuminating LED 4a and an indirectly illuminating LED 4b. An LED light, emitted from the indirectly illuminating LED 4b is, made incident on a reflector 3 and is reflected by the reflector 3 toward the prescribed illuminating range. The LED lamp offers direct illumination and indirect illumination as the directly illuminating LED 4a, and the indirectly illuminating LED 4b are selectively driven. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
