PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber molding material which has environmentally friendly characteristics and is used for rubber molded articles such as electric cable terminal portions and connection portions. SOLUTION: This rubber molding material comprising ethylene-propylene rubber as a base rubber material and a sulfur-containing compound comprising a thiuram-based compound, a thiazole-based compound, a dithiocarbamate-based compound, sulfur, or their combination as a vulcanizing agent, is characterized in that a total sulfur content in the vulcanizing agent is≤0.48 wt.%. The rubber molding material having the total content of≤0.48 wt.% can give rubber molded articles having acidity pH of≥4.3 and having environmentally friendly characteristics, rubber molded articles such as electric cable terminal portions and connection portions.
