<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric power steering device capable of accurately detecting abnormality of current sensors by a simpler constitution. <P>SOLUTION: A microcomputer (an abnormality determining part) acquires respective phase current values in the timing (Step 301: YES) when FET of the low electric potential side (a lower stage) becomes OFF when detecting the occurrence of failure in any of the respective current sensors (Step 302).
