[PROBLEMS] To provide: a water-disintegrable sheet which undergoes biodegradation and thereby prevents drainage facilities, e.g., a sewage treatment tank, from clogging and which can reconcile water resistance with water solubility; and a pouch for excreta-holding wear which is made of the sheet. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] The water-disintegrable sheet dissolves in water after immersion in the water. The sheet is characterized by containing an enzyme which decomposes the water-disintegrable sheet and by comprising a base which is composed of a water-disintegrable paper layer and a water-resistant layer. The water-resistant layer preferably contains a biodegradable substrate.
