PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor trouble detector wherein the number of input units is reduced and detection accuracy is stabilized. SOLUTION: The motor trouble detector 19 includes: gears 41A, 41B, 41C rotationally driven by corresponding motors 40A, 40B, 40C and having respective through holes 44A, 44B, 44C; sensors 42A, 42B, 42C that are disposed in correspondence with the gears 41A, 41B, 41C and output detection signals varied by the through holes 44A, 44B, 44C; and a rotation detecting means 10 that detects the state of the rotation of the motors 40A, 40B, 40C, based on detection signals from the sensors 42A, 42B, 42C. The through holes 44A, 44B, 44C are so provided that when the motors 40A, 40B, 40C are normally rotated, the state of change in the detection signals outputted from the sensors 42A, 42B, 42C are different from one another.
