<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a relief valve small in the number of parts, and capable of carrying out precise pressure adjustment. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The relief valve has a valve case forming an outline and having an internal space, a first passage opened to the internal space and communicating with a pressure generation source, a second passage opened to the internal space and relieving pressure, and a valve provided in the internal space and carrying out the communication or cutoff of the internal space and the first passage. The valve has a valve element and a plurality of legs extending from the valve element, the leg is formed of a spring material, and the valve is composed to cut off the internal space and the first passage when the pressure of the pressure generation source is a predetermined value or lower to make the internal space communicate with the first passage when the pressure of the pressure generation source is higher than the predetermined value, and to sequentially vary an opening area of the internal space and the first passage according to a degree of pressure higher than the predetermined value.
