<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a jacket enabling a wearer to easily move the arm and the shoulder, and suppressed in lowering of water retaining properties for the upper part of the shoulder. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This jacket includes a quilting fabric member. The quilting fabric member has a face side fabric and a lining, and a padding material put between the face side fabric and the lining, and is set with stitches regulating the movement of the padding material. In more details, the quilting fabric member is set with stitches so as to make an arc-like curve along the outer periphery of a shoulder-upper-surface-covering portion which covers upper surface of the shoulder of a wearer, and almost horizontally extend.
