<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a paper feeding jam in response to a setting condition and a printing order of the recording medium in a recording device having two or more paper feeding openings and delivering the recording medium, to which recording is already performed, onto the paper feeding opening provided in a front surface of the recording device. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This recording device has: a first loading means provided nearly under a front surface of the recording device so as to be loaded with the recording medium; a first paper feeding means for feeding the recording medium to a recording part; a second loading means to be loaded with the recording medium at a position different from the first loading means; and a second paper feeding means. The recording device for delivering the recording medium, to which recording is performed by the recording part, onto the first loading means provided in the front surface of the recording device is provided with a means for storing and comparing position of the paper feeding means in recording operation and size of the recording medium. In the case wherein this recording device performs recording by feeding papers from the second loading means and, after recording and delivering, by feeding papers from the first loading means, when size of the recording medium loaded by the second loading device last is smaller than size of the recording medium of the first loading means, processing from the first loading device is stopped, and a notice that paper feeding is impossible is served.
