PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self-supporting type walking support device that can efficiently help a care-receiver to acquire and be familiarized with a walking method using a stick, and enhance the motivation for training.SOLUTION: There is provided a self-supporting type walking support device 10 which includes a self-traveling carriage 12 on which a support member 11 that serves as a support in walking is erected, and an operation part 13 of the self-traveling carriage 12 provided to the support member 11, and in which the self-traveling carriage 12 moves on a floor surface 14 by the operation of the operation part 13. The self-traveling carriage 12 is provided with a teaching part 17 having auditory guidance means 15 and/or visual guidance means 16 for transmitting the information on a step-out position of a care-receiver operating the operation part 13 by voice and/or light respectively. |
