PURPOSE: A DLL for receiving directly an external clock signal is provided to increase a clock synchronization speed and reduce the current consumption by receiving directly the external clock signal. CONSTITUTION: A level selector(110) is used for receiving an external clock signal and outputting the external clock signal or the converted external clock signal by changing a level of the external clock signal according to a control signal. A control signal generator(120) is used for generating the control signal. An internal clock signal generator(130) is used for receiving an output of the level selector and the external clock signal and generating an internal clock signal.
