PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a form keeper for boot or the like which holds the entire form of boots vertically, especially the leg part thereof, and prevents the instep thereof from loosing shape allowing easy insertion and removal. SOLUTION: The form keeper has a reversed L shape as a whole in lateral view, made of a light and rigid board with elasticity allowing bending and punching such as polypropylene. The top of the form keeper has a larger diameter which is gradually reduced downward. The leg part L in approximately elliptical shape in plane view provided with movable long tongue pieces 2a, 2b and 2c and fixed tongue piece 3a, 3b and 3c integrally is horizontally connected with the foot part F through bending lines X, Y and Y'.
