<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control valve for a variable displacement compressor, capable of autonomously preventing freezing of an evaporator or the like through a simple structure. <P>SOLUTION: According to the control valve 1 for a variable displacement compressor, intake pressure Ps is monitored while performing an original capacity control for maintaining a differential pressure (Pd-Ps) between discharge pressure Pd and intake pressure Ps at a set differential pressure. When the intake pressure Ps is lower than the set pressure, a pressure sensing member 6 generates a force in the direction of reducing solenoid force to facilitate opening of a valve part. Consequently, the discharge capacity of the variable displacement compressor is reduced to prevent excessive cooling. Since this capacity control is autonomously performed by sensing the intake pressure Ps of a pressure chamber 25 by the pressure sensing member 6, freezing of the evaporator or the like can be effectively prevented. Further, since the pressure sensing member 6 is provided within a body 5, the control valve for the variable displacement compressor can have control characteristics of both Pd-Ps valve and Ps sensing valve through a simple structure. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
