<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of preventing the occurrence of toner blocking caused by waste toner even when a fixing device reaches high temperature. <P>SOLUTION: A recovery developer conveyance route 64a among recovery developer conveyance parts 64a to 64d is disposed closest to the fixing device 30. The recovery developer conveyance part 64a is disposed so that the distance from the recovery developer conveyance part 64a to a sheet conveyance surface formed by a conveyor belt 60 is larger than the distance from other recovery developer conveyance parts 64b to 64d vertically to the sheet conveyance surface. The air in an image forming apparatus body 12 becomes high temperature by the fixing device 30 as the heat source. The surface temperature of the recovery developer conveyance device 64a becomes lower than that when the distance between the recovery conveyance part 64a and sheet conveyance surface is nearly equal to the distances between the other recovery developer conveyance parts 64b, 64c, and 64d and sheet conveyance surface. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
