PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disposable diaper which, by improving flexibility of the upper edge of standing gathers, can prevent wearer's skin from being hurt while keeping a leakage proof property.SOLUTION: A disposable diaper is based on the knowledge that a plate-like elastic expansible member 42, where a plurality of notches 421 are formed, joins to the upper edge of standing gathers 4, thereby improving flexibility of the upper edge of the standing gathers 4, and it is possible to move the upper edge of the standing gathers 4 flexibly according to unevenness and curvature of a wearer's body. |
