PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display an image read from a deteriorated document image with high definition. SOLUTION: A CPU 11 selects a specific pixel of an image, generates positional information and color information of the selected pixel and adds the positional information and color information to the image. The CPU 11 reads out the document image from a reading section 14, extracts the positional information and color information added to the document image, acquires the color information of the pixel of an image thus read corresponding to the positional information, and corrects the image thus read based on the generated color information and the acquired color information.
