PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrolytic capacitor whose reflow characteristic is good, and ESR characteristic at low temperature is good after high-temperature test at 125°C. SOLUTION: The electrolytic capacitor is provided with: a capacitive element which is made by winding an anode foil, a cathode foil, and a separator, and impregnating it with an electrolytic solution for driving; an exterior case which houses the capacitive element; and a sealing body which seals an opening of the exterior case. Since an electrolyte made of a solvent comprising sulfolane is used as the electrolytic solution for driving, and the amount of the impregnation of the electrolyte to the capacitive element is within the range of 75 to 95% of the maximum capacitance of the liquid with which the capacitive element can be impregnated, reflow characteristic is good, and ESR behavior at low temperature is good after high-temperature test at 125°C.
