<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a sustainedly releasable agrochemical granule that permits avoidance of phytotoxicity to crops, can maintain effects of a medicine over a long period of time and is inexpensive from a cost standpoint by controlling elution of various water-soluble or water-insoluble agrochemical active ingredients from a preparation. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The sustainedly releasable agrochemical granule comprises (a) an agrochemical active ingredient, (b) sepiolite having an SiO<SB>2</SB>content of at least 50%, a particle size of 3-12 μm and a specific surface area of at most 300 m<SP>2</SP>/g, (c) a binder and (d) a surfactant.
