Provided are a face recognition-based personal connection-type database establishing method, and a method and a system for utilizing an open service using the same. The face recognition-based personal connection-type database establishing method is characterized in comprising the steps of: setting a personal connection-type structure based on face recognition in order to provide an open service (an Internet service and types of services provided in a wireless/wired communication service environment) based on face recognition, and optimizing and sharing a personal connection-type database for types of groups to generate at least one service, or supplying face recognition-based database information to a third party (a user who does not own a database); and generating an open service model for fields using characteristics of the types of groups based on the personal connection-type database, or allowing the third party to generate or provide at least one open service model based on the face recognition-based personal connection-type database.
