摘要 The present invention provides an apparatus and a method for monitoring a photovoltaic (PV) panel of a solar electricity generation system. According to the present invention, when a fault or an error occurs in a PV panel of a solar electricity generation system, or a shadow on a light receiving surface of the PV panel is generated to cause a problem in the output of the PV panel, the fault, error, or problem can be rapidly monitored for notification. The apparatus for monitoring a photovoltaic (PV) panel of a solar electricity generation system comprises a data acquiring part and a normality determination part, the solar electricity generation system including: a PV panel, a power conditioning circuit controlling power flow to allow the PV panel to be operated at a maximum power point; and a circuit breaker electrically connecting/blocking the PV panel and the power conditioning circuit with each other. The data acquiring part receives an input of a signal indicating conversion of the circuit breaker from a blocked state to a connected state and receives the input of a signal continuously detecting output voltage and output current of the PV panel from the moment when the circuit breaker is converted to the connected state. The normality determination part receives the signal continuously detecting output voltage and output current of the PV panel from the data acquiring part to calculate the maximum power point of the PV panel and determine whether the PV panel has an error based on the maximum power point.
