PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and a method for generating a three-dimensional (3D) scene image, capable of saving time and expense for data collection and providing a high resolution image with fewer channels.SOLUTION: A three-dimensional (3D) scene image of a scene is generated using a MIMO array 310 including a set of antennas by selecting subsets of antennas as transmission antennas and receive antennas. While the MIMO array is moving at a varying velocity, a radio frequency (RF) signal is transmitted into the scene using the subset of the transmission antennas. The RF signal is received at the subset of the receive antennas as MIMO data, and the MIMO data is aligned and regularized. Next, a compression sensing (CS)-based reconstruction procedure is applied to the aligned MIMO data to generate the 3D image of the scene.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
