PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent water etc. from entering into a fan cover in a motor vertically placed.SOLUTION: A motor 10, which is arranged so that an anti-load side of the motor is located above a load side in a vertical direction, is provided. The motor 10 includes: a fan provided at an anti-load side end part of a motor shaft; a fan cover 18 covering the fan; and an umbrella member 20 covering the fan cover. The fan cover 18 has: a cylindrical part 18a; and a lid part 18b which closes the anti-load side end part of the cylindrical part 18a. A suction port is provided at the lid part 18b. The umbrella member 20 has: a first cover part 20a covering a radial outer side of the cylindrical part 18a; and a second cover part 20b closing an anti-load side end part of the first cover part 20a and covering a rear side of the lid part 18b.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 |
