PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a stainless steel capable of suppressing the nitrogen absorption of a stainless molten steel upon tapping from a refining furnace such as a converter.SOLUTION: Provided is a method for producing a stainless steel where raw material for a stainless steel is dissolved, the generated stainless steel molten iron 1 is subjected to refining treatment into a stainless molten steel 1a by a converter 2, and thereafter, the stainless molten steel 1a is tapped into a molten steel ladle 3 from the converter 2. Further, in the method for producing a stainless steel, before the stainless molten steel 1a is tapped into the molten steel ladle 3, calcium carbonate 5b is poured into the molten steel ladle 3, further, flame is radiated from a burner 8 toward the inside of the molten steel ladle 3, and the calcium carbonate 5b in the molten steel ladle 3 is heated.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
