PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus in which even when fingers or tools are inserted into a space after a developer storage container is moved in a predetermined direction, the fingers or tools are hardly in contact with a second electrode.SOLUTION: An electrode terminal 35a is provided in a guide part 14c, in contact with an electrode terminal 21a of a toner bottle 20 located at a supply position, and separated from the electrode terminal 21a in association with a movement of the toner bottle 20 in a predetermined direction. A link member 53 moves a protective member 52 from a protection position to a release position in conjunction with a movement of the toner bottle 20 toward the supply position in a direction opposite to the predetermined direction.
