The present invention relates to a control method of a device using a touch screen through a gesture and a device thereof and, more specifically, to a control method on the touch screen comprising: a step of receiving a gesture signal on a touch screen display; a step of determining an execution gesture by comparing the gesture signal with at least one registered gesture pattern; a step of extracting accuracy of the gesture signal and size of the gesture by comparing the gesture signal to the execution gesture; a step of giving a score to the gesture signal according to a pre-determined method based on the size, the accuracy, and difficulty of the execution gesture pattern; and a step of applying a control effect corresponding to the score. The purpose of the present invention is to provide various control methods and devices within a restricted input screen of a mobile device. |
