PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress lowering of the display quality of an integrated image, in multi-projection by a projector which estimates a format from an input image signal.SOLUTION: A display device has: storage means which stores the information of regulation values of parameters of a plurality of formats of an image signal; measurement means which measures a parameter of an input image signal; calculation means which calculates similarity between a format of the input image signal and a candidate format on the basis of a measurement value obtained by the measurement means and a regulation value of a parameter of the candidate format of the input image signal out of the plurality of formats which are stored in the storage means; acquisition means which acquires a candidate format of an input image signal of the other display device and the information of similarity of the candidate format; and decision means which decides a format of an input image signal of an own machine on the basis of similarity out of the candidate format of the input image signal of the own machine and the candidate format of the input image signal of the other display device.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
