An image processing device 1 includes: an abnormal candidate detection unit 110 which detects an abnormal candidate region from an image of the inside of a lumen in a body; an abnormal candidate information acquisition unit 120 which acquires information on the abnormal candidate region detected by the abnormal candidate detection unit 110; an identification method determination unit 130 which determines the identification method for identifying whether or not the abnormal candidate region is an abnormal region on the basis of the information on the abnormal candidate region; and an identification unit 140 which identifies whether or not the abnormal candidate region is an abnormal region using the identification method determined by the identification method determination unit 130.
