Provided is a drive unit wherein the vibration of a drive part is not easily impeded. A drive unit 2 that is provided with: an elastic body 5 that has a first opening; and a piezoelectric vibrating body 4 that has an opening and that is laminated on one of a first and a second main surface 5a, 5b of the elastic body 5. The piezoelectric vibrating body 4 is a laminate body that comprises: a fixed plate 10 that has a second opening 10c, wiring, and a plurality of held parts 10e, 10f; and a plurality of piezoelectric elements that are surface-bonded to the fixed plate 10. The wiring is electrically connected to the plurality of piezoelectric elements and reaches the plurality of held parts 10e, 10f. The present invention is configured so as to vibrate as a result of the plurality of piezoelectric elements being driven. The present invention vibrates by bending vibration and by at least one type of vibration that is not bending vibration or vibrates in a combination mode that combines bending vibration and at least one type of vibration that is not bending vibration.
