Self-recovering current-limiting device with liquid metal and corresponding monting method

Current limiter contains cylindrical housing (24), two solid metal electrodes (17',17'') and condensation chambers for liquid metal, sequentially located condensation chambers laterally bonded by partitions (32) with connecting duct(s). There is single, cylindrical separator for partitions, or several adjacent separators (34,34') for partition each. Cylinder formed by single separator and insulating lids (20',20'') is embedded in fibre containing hardenable mass. Configuration for module containing several separators is specified. Independent claims are included for assembly process for invented current limiter.
