PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately detect the moving state of a conveyor belt by avoiding the occurrence of a position displacement between a scale pattern for detecting the moving state of the conveyor belt and the conveyor belt. SOLUTION: An endless belt 201 and the linear scale 202 which has the same thickness as that of the endless belt 201 and on which a scale pattern is formed are arranged parallel with each other on a same plane, and joined to each other with an outer peripheral side joining member 203 and an inner peripheral side joining member 204 on both surfaces. A guide groove 401 for containing the inner peripheral side joining member 201 is formed on the outer peripheral surface of each roller at a position facing the inner peripheral side joining member 201. A scale support part 403 so supporting the linear scale 202 that the same tension as the endless belt 201 acts on the linear scale 202 is formed thereon at a position facing the linear scale 202.
