PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture and provide an inexpensive egg packaging container by using a synthetic resin-made sheet with a colored portion being formed in advance in each corresponding portion of a color marker and a coloring part, in order to reduce the production cost by omitting the working cost for providing the coloring part for the color marker, and merchandise information, advertisement or the like corresponding to the size specification of eggs during a packaging process. SOLUTION: The egg packaging container comprises a container body 1 formed by swelling a synthetic resin-made sheet material and provided with individual recesses 11 for housing eggs, and a lid 2 continuously formed to the container body 1 via a folding part 3. The egg packaging container is molded in a predetermined shape by using the synthetic resin-made sheet material 5 with the coloring part 15 for the merchandise information, the advertisement or the like including the color marker 13 displaying the size of housed eggs and formed in advance when manufacturing the synthetic resin-made sheet material to form the container.
