PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a headrest capable of improving comfortability in ordinary use. SOLUTION: This headrest 10 is furnished with a cushion member 20 in the inside of which a gas chamber R is formed and a check valve 36 capable of restraining gas exhaust from the gas chamber R. The check valve 36 normally allows the gas exhaust to the outside from the gas chamber R and softly holds the cushion member 20 and improves the rigidity of the cushion member 20 by prohibiting the gas exhaust to the outside from the gas chamber R when external force of higher than a specified value works on the cushion member 20.
