PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the front vehicle body structure of a vehicle which disperses and absorbs an impact load with respect to a light impact load from the front without deteriorating durability against the impact load from a front hood. SOLUTION: The front vehicle body structure is provided with a bumper member extending to the right and left direction of the vehicle on the back side of a bumper body disposed in front of the vehicle. The bumper member is composed of a first bumper member 3 positioned at the upper side, and a second bumper member 4 positioned at the lower side of the first bumper member 3. The first bumper member 3 and the second bumper member 4 are fixed to a vehicle body through a bracket 6 extending to the longitudinal direction of the vehicle body respectively, and the first bumper member 3 and a hood lock member 1 disposed in the vehicle width direction on the vehicle body side are connected through a hood lock brace 2.
