PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce time and labor sharply when a desired file is searched out of an enormous number of files of still image, image, music, and the like, stored in a plurality of removable media. SOLUTION: After storing files in a DVD 13, the recorder records a cut line CL at a predetermined position of a recording sheet P, records a list of reduced images of a plurality of files stored in the DVD 13 and a media ID assigned to the DVD 13 on the recording surface closer to the index sheet DS than to the cut line CL, and records the media ID assigned to the DVD 13 on the recording surface closer to the label sheet LS side than the cut line CL. The user separates the recorded recording sheet P into an index sheet DS and a label sheet LS by the cut line CL, stores the index sheet DS while keeping on file in an album and attaches the label sheet LS to the DVD 13 by inserting it into the case 12 of the DVD 13, for example.
