<p>The present invention to a panel comprising at least two pairs of primers that are complementary to at least two different reporter genes, the expression of which are i) either up- or down-regulated upon cell differentiation, and ii) display a similar expression profile in at least two different cell lines of the same kind of cells. The cells may be blastocyst-derived stem (BS) cells or human blastocyst-derived stem (hBS) cells. Furthermore, the present invention relates to the use of a calculated expression index for quantifying and evaluating the expression of the reporter genes, which for example can be used for assessing the state of differentiation of a cell population, such as, e.g. a hBS cell population.</p> |
