COORDINATE DETECTION DEVICE

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To identify crossing and turn operation even if performing operation such that two points overlap, in a coordinate input device using an optical sensor allowing detection of simultaneous input of the two points.

SOLUTION: This coordinate detection device having the optical sensors each for scanning a square coordinate input face by irradiating light and receiving light reflected by a retroreflection material installed in a position opposite to an irradiation direction, and detecting a coordinate position of a coordinate referent inserted in the coordinate input face based on light shielding timing by the coordinate referent inserted in the coordinate input face has: a position coordinate storage means for storing the coordinate position sequentially detected by the scanning of the irradiating light; and an arithmetic means for sequentially calculating a velocity vector accompanying movement of indication coordinates by the coordinate referent based on the stored coordinate position and the newly detected coordinate position, and identifying the coordinate position of the turn operation and the crossing operation of coordinate indication by two coordinate referents inserted in the coordinate input face based on the calculated velocity vector.
