PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture an organic EL element with suitable properties at low costs. SOLUTION: A first material film 410 is formed at a first electrode 3 side by arranging a first organic material consisted of one of monomer, oligomer, and polymer by a liquid phase method, and then, a lower layer side of the first material film 410 is polymerized to become an insoluble state, and an upper layer side of the first material film 410 is also polymerized to retain a soluble state. Then, a second material film 430 is formed on the first material film 410 by arranging a second organic material consisted of one of monomer, oligomer, and polymer by a liquid phase method, the lower layer side of the first material film 410 is set up to be a first organic layer 41 by polymerizing a lower layer side of the second material film 430 and the upper layer side of the first material film 410, an intermediate organic layer 42 made of a copolymer of the first organic material and the second organic material is formed on the first organic layer 41, and the second material film 430 on the intermediate organic layer 42 is formed as at least a part of the second organic layer.
