PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tray and a production method of the tray capable of being produced with higher productivity than vacuum molding and press molding.SOLUTION: A blow molding 60 having a hollow inside where one side portion 61 corresponding to one side mold 31 and the other side portion 62 corresponding to the other side mold 32 are joined along a parting line 63 is peeled along the parting line 63 and then one side portion 61 and the other side portion 62 compose resin-made trays 10 respectively. A thermoplastic resin becoming a raw material is composed of a sea-island structure at a predetermined ratio of polypropylene and polyethylene.
