PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a package and a packaging method for packaging a plurality of glass sheets together with interlayer protective sheets positioned between adjacent glass sheet pairs.SOLUTION: Laminates of glass sheets including interlayer protective sheets positioned between adjacent glass sheet pairs are sandwiched between two pressing members of an outer housing, to which is applied, by the two pressing members respectively, supporting pressure which is dispersed across one corresponding outer surfaces of the outermost glass sheet pairs of the laminates of the glass sheets so that the glass sheets respectively extend along a curved surface. The plurality of glass sheets are packaged so that tension stress at peripheral edges thereof is less than 200 MPa.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
