PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method capable of inexpensively and stably manufacturing hydrogen with an existing facility, without preparing a large dedicated facility.SOLUTION: In a hydrogen manufacturing method, when manufacturing hydrogen with a blast furnace, by blowing in steam as coolant together with pure oxygen from a tuyere of a blast furnace, the steam reacts with in-furnace dropping coke in a combustion region in front of the tuyere, hydrogen-containing furnace gas not substantially containing nitrogen is generated, and then hydrogen is separated from the gas and recovered.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
