Nuevos genotipos del nucleopoliedrovirus simple de Helicoverpa armigera (HearSNPV), procedimiento para su producción y uso como agente de control biológico

The invention relates to two novel genotypes of the Helicoverpa armigera single nucleopolyhedrovirus HearSNPV, HearSNPV-SP1 B and HearSNPV-LB6, each one originating from mixtures of genotypes obtained from different locations and cultures. Each one has a specific insecticide activity for controlling Helicoverpa armigera larvae comparable to that of the usual commercial insectides. Furthermore, the mixture of the two genotypes, especially in a ratio of 1:1, with co-occluded virions of mixed genotypes, can control H. armigera pests in tomato cultures just as effectively as chemical or biological insecticides that are used normally. The use thereof as a bioinsecticide represents a safe technology for vertebrates, specifically arthropods. It can also be produced easily, with a high yield, as a result of the oral inoculation of H. armigera larvae with HearSNPV occlusion bodies.
