摘要 An insulated tank 2 is filled to the level indicated by F, through pipe 4 which has a filler inlet 6 and a non-return valve 8. Pick up pipe 10 in the tank top has a secondary pressure release valve (SEC) adjusted to open at 350psi. Pipe 10 is also free to vent through a 5 further primary pressure release valve (PRIM). After the tank is filled, vapour fuel from vent space flows freely through the vapour fuel line to economiser 18 until the economiser set pressure is reached. After this pressure is reached, the liquid opens a check valve and supplies liquid fuel to a first heat exchanger 22 which receives mostly vapour. The fuel passes through manual stop valve 21 to the first heat exchanger 22 from 10 the engine radiator. The liquid - gas fuel mixture has an equilibrium pressure and when the fuel emerges from the first heat exchanger 22 it is a mixture of gas with entrained droplets of liquid. Pressure regulator 36 lies between the filter 26 and second heat exchanger 28. The purpose of regulator 36 is to maintain a fuel feed pressure of 105psi to the engine 32. 15 Figure 1 -- lip, C ri toot ThTLTIV
