PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a balloon catheter that can detect the formation of a pinhole in a short time.SOLUTION: A balloon catheter 1 comprises: an outer tube 11; an inner tube 12 provided inside the outer tube 11; a balloon 13 connected to one end 11a of the outer tube 11; and a connector 14 connected to the other end 11b of the outer tube 11 and including a driving fluid supply port 14a for supplying a driving fluid to the balloon 13. A liquid detection sensor 31 that detects liquid is provided between at least one of the outer tube 11 and the balloon 13 and the inner tube 12.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
