PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a counting feeder excellent in working efficiency and compact in construction so that it can be serviced inexpensively.SOLUTION: A counting feeder transports articles to be counted, through a plurality of transfer passages 2a, 2b, 2c and 2d arranged in parallel, and detects, counts and feeds the passage of the articles to be counted at the transfer passages 2a, 2b, 2c and 2d, by detectors 6a, 6b, 6c and 6d individually. When the total counted values at the transfer passages 2a, 2b, 2c and 2d reach a set value lower than the desired counted value, the feeds individually at the transfer passages 2a, 2b, 2c and 2d is stopped, and the number of articles to be counted left by the stops are totalized by selecting the transfer passages 2a, 2b, 2c and 2d appropriately. The transfer passages 2a, 2b, 2c and 2d, in which the total counted value becomes the difference value calculated by subtracting the set value from the desired counted value is selected, thereby to release the stop of the feed of the articles to be counted in the selected transfer passages 2a, 2b, 2c and 2d.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
