The pump (1) has a drive motor (2) and a pump mechanism (6). An eccentric screw (16) is supported in the foot (14) side of the pump to supply viscous fluid. A quick-fit connection (4) enables the drive motor to be separated from the pump mechanism. The drive motor and the end section of the pump mechanism furthest from the eccentric screw each have a fixing flange, which are clamped together by a clamp ring.
