New cosmetic compositions (A) comprise an aqueous cosmetic medium containing cationic agent(s) (I), oil(s) (II) and polymer(s) (III) of molecular weight 1000000 or less, consisting of a backbone of hydrocarbon repeating units containing heteroatom(s). At least one pendant and/or terminal optionally functionalized 6-120C (preferably 12-68C) fatty chain is attached to the backbone of hydrocarbon repeating units, provided that either (a) (A) contains 0.005-5 wt. % (II) and 75-90 wt. % water or (b) (I) are cationic surfactants.
