<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the smoothness of pixels by previously forming partitions having apertures on a transparent substrate by using a peeling member having a projecting part of a negative pattern. <P>SOLUTION: A method of manufacturing the color filter includes: (1) a partition forming process of forming the partitions 6 having the partition apertures 9 by forming a partition layer 3 on a support member 4 and peeling the partition layer to a negative pattern form by the peeling member 5 having the projecting part; (2) a colored pattern forming process of forming a colored pattern by discharging a colored ink by an ink jet system to the partition apertures to provide colored layers 11; and (3) a transferring process of transferring the partitions and the colored patterns onto the transparent substrate 7. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
